Recent Village Bournemouth Review: "Had a most enjoyable stay at the Village Bournemouth. Our room was extremely spacious and spotless. We ate in Verve grill on two nights. The waiting staff were welcoming and attentive on both occasions. The first evening we dined from the a la carte menu and the steaks we ordered were the best we've tasted in a long while. On Sundays the hotel has a  very reasonably priced "all you can eat" buffet with a good selection of starters, main courses and desserts. In addition, the Victory pub within the hotel was selling draught beer at A1.50 a pint which pleased my boyfriend immensely! Breakfast, again, was a well-stocked buffet. The chef was happy to cook me poached eggs to order rather than the fried and scrambled offerings in the buffet. The hotel has a fitness centre on-site with a 25m pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi (albeit a small one which only accommodates 4 people), gym and good variety of classes. Children are allowed to use the pool at certain times of the day but we tended to use it in the evening when it was very quiet. I also had a great manicure and pedicure in the beauty salon. Finally, it was great having a Starbucks on site so that we could get our daily "fix". I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bournemouth or explore Dorset."
